We stand at a crossroads in the Serendipity project this week. We have completed Draft 4 of the libretto. We like the story a lot. However, we have made a fundamental change to the story by including another big, main character. The inclusion of the character might change the way the story is perceived, and changes how it might be performed dramatically. Hence why #TeamSerendipity are a little unsure. We’re standing at a crossroads, with the previous story (Draft 3) behind us, the potential new story direction (Draft 4) in front of us to the right, and yet another potential direction for the story to the left.
Whatever we choose to do, you’ll be able to find out about the other iterations of the plot on this blog in the future. All backers and supporters of the project will get access to exclusive behind the scenes info.
In other news, this week has also seen the talented Ben Duffin finish the recording of the demo version of ‘It’s Time for Me to Shine’, hopefully we can share some of this soon.
In the meantime. If you want to play a game of ‘Spot the Difference’. See our plot map in the featured image above. This is the character map filled in for Drafts 3 and 4 (with the exception of the new character). Let’s see how different, or not, that looks by the end of September!
